After a successful but short launch of the new UR-220 Carbon (25 sold out in some days), Urwerk has has announced a new version of this brand new model in black pvd coated steel and ti. The new UR-220 all dark gives the model a gleaming, highly polished look which accentuates its fun and hostile lines.
Featuring the most fresh of Urwerk's signature 'Wandering Time' displays, the UR-220 marks a continuation from the development begun with the UR-210. The three-dimensional satellite moves as the time changes as well as picks up the minute indicator operating along the linear display. In late the hour, the indication bounces back dramatically having a retrograde motion to receive the following satellite, and is carefully lightened to optimize this movement.
The UR-220 also provides back the brand's popular "oil change" function, a little display that keeps track of time until you recommend the watch because of its next service. As with most of the brand's innovations, the idea would be to make the watch a more online and immersive part of the wearer's life.
